- Critter Valley is a "closed" rattery / mousery meaning I cannot allow anyone into my rattery/mousery, as it could introduce disease to my colony, a risk I am not willing to take.

- Adoptee must fill out my adoption application and sign an adoption contract.

- critter valley only adopts rats in same sex pairs unless you already have rats at home or have a altered. 

​

- just like rats female mice have to go in same sex pairs unless you have have female/altered male at home.

​

-male mice can go single.

​

- Adopter may NOT transfer ownership without my permission, "set free", or relinquish to a vet, rescue, or shelter. If you can no longer care for your pets, you must return them to critter valley.

- Adopter may NOT use pine or cedar bedding, as it is toxic to small animals.

​

- Adopter must update me with the health of their rat/mice

for its entire life,at least once every month.

​

- If you are a first time rat/mouse owner, I must pre approve your cage, bedding, and pets diet. Also discuss proper care and maintenance.

- Critter Valley reserves the right to refuse adoptions to anyone.

​

- Critter Valley pets are adopted out to pet homes ONLY! No breeding! unless under a breeder contract.
